One day, after a grade 5 group had left, a teacher and student came to see me.  The teacher proceeded to tell me that her student never participates in gym class.  She will never run or move quickly, she usually sits off to the side and just watches.  She is on the autism spectrum and hates to exercise.  I was shocked because I didn’t notice anyone sitting out or not participating.  She wanted to let me know that she loved DrumFIT and enjoyed everything we had done in the class.  The student gave me a great big hug and thanked me for coming.  Of course, this brought tears to my eyes – definitely a touching moment!
